If the game greets you with a debug/abort or an unhandled exception message, or it just won't load, try the following for help.
Resetting Registry
First, try pressing down Shift + CTRL as you start babyz, and click "Yes" when the message pops up.
If that doesn't work, you may try deleting your registry:
Go to START/RUN...
Search for regedit.
Then click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click Software, find P.F. Magic &
delete the whole babyz folder.
Restart your system, and try to start babyz again.
Other Options[/b]
If that doesn't work, there are a couple other things you can try:
-Delete or move your newest hexed downloads. The problem may be with a certain toy, clothing article, or playscene.
-If the problem is with a playscene, try downloading a custom playscene to overwrite the original.
-Sometimes the problem can be a certain baby, so try taking the baby out of the Adopted Babyz folder and putting him/her into Grandma's house. Load the game, and you should be able to bring that baby out of Grandma's House!
-Copy all the files important to you, or even the entire Babyz folder, to a different location. Delete the babyz folder, and reinstall the game.

Windows 7 seems to crop up a whole breed of different issues. If your game randomly starts popping up debug messages and you've tried everything else, try these tricks:
-Right click on the babyz icon and click "run as administrator."
-Move your folder from Documents to your desktop.
-Put your game in compatibility mode with Windows 98.
