Sorry if this is in the wrong area! I know very few people know how to do this, I pretty much figured it out on my own by messing with bases people already hexed.
First off, you MUST have a basic understanding of how to hex clothes already. You must know how to change textures, add them, change IDs, tinker them, etc. You also need to have a basic understanding on how to hex Babyz with linez and addballz.
After textures, you must have something that looks like this:
; petscale ballscale baseBallSize
100 87 8
;bBall offset color outCol fuzz colGroup outType size texture
-83 0, 0, 0 18 18 0 0 -1 0 -1
;
Basically, this part tells the game that these are addballz you are moving around and aren't paintballz on the actual Babyz. You can feel free to mess around with these and change the numbers slightly to see what works for you best on what clothing base to hex.
Under the above you should put your first ball.
0 50,-50,0 10 18 0 0 -1 20 0
To know what each of these mean, I have color coded them for you.
Black numbers- Leave them be. There isn't much you can do with them.
Pink numbers- That is your X, Y, & Z axis. You change the numbers according to the XYZ axis chart to move the ball.
Red number- is the actual color of the ball, however I wouldn't worry about it as texturing looks much better.
Blue number- The outline of the addball. Again, texturing looks much better, so I wouldn't worry about it!
Brown number- Is how fuzzy the ball is.
Green number- Is the outline type. Currently it's -1. You should know about how to change these numbers, and what a 1, 2, -1, etc is.
Purple number- Is the size of the ball.
Orange number- Is obviously the texture of the ball. The textures of course coincide with the texture list!
Now that we have our first line, we're going to add another line and then connect it!
0 50,-50,0 10 18 0 0 -1 20 0
0 60,-50,0 10 18 0 0 -1 20 0
Let's copy & paste the first line. Then slightly move the ball on the X axis.
Directly under that, you need to put this for the linez section:
end ; add balls
;start end fuzz col lfCol rtCol sThck eThick fulloutline
1 2 0 -1 18 18 100 100 -1
end ; linez
You connect it using the first 2 numbers I bolded. The rest of the numbers are pretty explanatory by the sections labeled above it.
The first ball starts off as number 1.
So the second ball that you pasted and changed the X axis is number 2.
Therefore you would connect 1 and 2.
The whole file should look like this:
[Add Clothing]
; kind: Diaper,Coveralls,Jumper,Onesie,Pants,Shirt,Socks,Hat,Hat2,NoseThing,NoseThing2,Glasses
Glasses
; textures isremapable width height (optional)
\art\AutoBuild\cottonwhite.bmp 0
end ; textures
; petscale ballscale baseBallSize
100 87 8
;bBall offset color outCol fuzz colGroup outType size texture
-83 0, 0, 0 18 18 0 0 -1 0 -1
;
0 50,-50,0 10 18 0 0 -1 20 0
0 60,-50,0 10 18 0 0 -1 20 0
end ; add balls
;start end fuzz col lfCol rtCol sThck eThick fulloutline
1 2 0 -1 138 138 100 100 -1
end ; linez
Now hit save and open your game. Try the item you are hexing onto your baby. You should see a tiny thick line of ballz slightly above and to the right of the baby's right eye.
To add more addballz and linez make sure you do it before the parts that say:
end ; add balls
end ; linez
Sorry if this is a tad confusing. I'm really tired and trying to fall asleep! If I missed anything or need to add it, let me know! You can also certainly ask questions here or PM me.
