Right or Wrong way to make a copy of your babyz game?

I want to make a second copy of my babyz game to use to hex things in so in case things go wrong it won't mess with my my main game. So this is probably going to be a dumb question but is it as simple as making a copy of the babyz folder renaming it something like Babyz1 and keep it in the documents folder too? I frequently don't know what the hell I'm doing so I just wanted to double check with you guys how you do it. THANKS

i'm not actually sure if anyone does this! i tend to just keep backups of babyz/pictures/clothes/toys and if the game needs a reset that the registry can't fix, it's quick to reinstall.

I have a full copy on a zip drive but have never tried to use it for the game portion. It's mostly for 'safe copies' of clothes, babyz etc since my comp is so old and tends to destroy things when the slightest problem pops up.
Sorry not much help ...
