Ok so I've been trying for ages to get viavoice to work, and I really tried so I wouldn't need to bother you all and ask but ugh, I couldn't manage.
I even tried Stormie 's download for viavoice but that didn't work either.
I'm on windows 10. My problem is that when I click on "SETUP" I get the usual nothing out of the ordinary pop-up saying "Do you want to allow... etc etc" so I click on yes, but after that, nothing happens. Just nothing, as if I didn't even click anything.
I tried restarting my laptop, tried turning off windows defender, but nothing has worked.
I hope there's a way to fix this, because I really would like to get it to work.
Apparently it was because my laptop has a program installed that was interfering with the installation process for viavoice, which is why it wasn't loading. Not sure why or how that would happen but alright...
In case anyone ever has the same problem as me, I found a fix (not sure if it would work for everyone though!).
Even though when you click on SETUP nothing happens, there should still be a process.
So just open Task Manager and find the 32 bit installer and right click on it, then click 'Go to details'.
Once there, right click on the setup again, and click on 'Analyse wait chain' and that will show you if something is blocking the installer from starting up.
For me it was a program called Armour Crate. What I did was end the process completely (the setup included) and then I found the Armour Crate processes and ended those too. After that, the installation worked as it should.
If the installer is working normally, when you click on 'Analyse wait chain', you should just see something like "SETUP.exe is running normally."
