So I am going to try my hand at hexing. After talking to my milk sis Mimi, I think I'm going to start with hexing a baby. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for me before I get started? I don't want to try anything to fancy, get ahead of myself, or discourage myself, so just thought I'd see if anyone has any helpful advice!
[o]Something I always recommend to beginning hexers is to keep copies of all the hexies you're working on at different stages of development. Because sometimes things just go wrong, and it makes it a lot easier to figure out what went wrong if you save a copy for each big step. It also saves a lot of frustration later, so you can go back to a past save without having to entirely start over.
I remember when I was learning how to hex, I was trying to change a baby's eye color and I somehow entirely dismantled the baby into a bunch of fuzzy, floating ballz, haha.[/o]
[o] Oh goodness, fuzzy floating ballz do not sound ideal. I think doing something like eye change would be a good place to start. Thanks for the tip Rima, I will always keep copies. [/o]
[o]rofl! Poor thing. I'm so scared! I'm following the tutorial exactly, and trying to make a color wars basic baby. I picked the Liz Brite orange hair... my daughter picked the super blue eyes... she's trying so hard to stay awake to see how it turns out.
You're hexing from the Babyzrez.dll file? You just need to enter a code based on what section you're editing (WGX, WG, WBX, WB, etc). Make sure all of your babies are moved into grandma's house and the adoption folder is empty, and then use the correct code!
