places to host downloads?

not sure if there's already a thread for this but; i currently host all my downloads on dropbox, which is very convenient for the time being; i just have to drag the zip file into dropbox, right click and click "share link".

however i'm also uncomfortably aware the more time goes on this is also a flawed system as if my system crashes [which they always do] i will lose all my files and have to re-host them which would be a giant pain in the arse! do people use anything else? or am i wrong about dropbox? :Ta

Dropbox stores them online so you just have to log into your drop box again to get your stuffs!! :3

Also, for mass uploading you can try a file sharing website. Or just make a new drop box with a different email, that works too haha.

I know a lot are gone after the big federal crackdowns, but there's still always Media Fire (https://www.mediafire.com/) which offers 10gigs free.

There's also;

- Google Docs (through your email) offers 5gigs free.
- Microsoft Skydrive (through email? Not sure. D:) offers 7gigs free.
-https://www.box.com/home/ - They offer 5gigs for free.
- www.mimedia.com/ - Offers 7gigs free.

I have personally used 4Shared for years and love it. They offer a lot of free storage space and for files as small as babyz files you wouldn't likely ever need to get more. It is simple to upload to and manage. It is also easy for people to download your files as it makes it clear which link on the page is the actual download as opposed to many file sharing sites that try to trick you into downloading their spyware. 
I started it using it quite some years ago when I was designing digital scapbook kits for a taggers group I was part of and have used it several times over the years to share things from my blogs.

thanks so much for your help on the subject guys! i can't code to save my life so i doubt i could open a mootique since ive heard theres a lot of coding involved :X i didnt know dropbox saved my stuff online though thats brill! im not sure if i log out of dropbox its still downloadable though?

𝓳amie 👽 - Yep, you don't have to be logged in just provide the link to the download and whether you're logged in or out, it's available for download online if your account is public. I've used it since 2012, it's pretty nifty but yeah.. I have a lot of accounts for it because I've been using it so long LOL.

Nooo problem, always happy to help! I went searching for the best ones I could find, haha. A lot have been taken down in recent years for illegal activities.
