How do babyz gain "neglect?"

In petz, if you open the game and don't play with one of them and then a day passes... your pet gets more neglect. This seems to be a lot different from babyz. When they're at grandma's, from what I can tell, they stay content? Does anything bad happen from "Grandma's house?" if you don't play with them for a few days even if you open up the game?

Does the "neglect" slider go up? So far, from what I can tell, none of my babyz have gained neglect, which has surprised me because I haven't been spending time wtih 100% of them 100% of the time?

I think the neglect slider is just a holdover from Petz, I've never seen it go up on a baby that I can remember.

I think it might be that ^^ If you like at the petza settings, there are ones about mating but you can't click them. So it may just be a petz thing.

I don't know if not feeding them, keeping them sick, or not changing their diapers does anything though.

it definitely does move, sometimes just by opening & closing the game to take photos it nudges up by 10 neglect!

It does? I've never seen that! And I close and open the game all the time! What do you do to your babyz, Kazzie? Do I need to call virtual social services? xD

lmao yeah maybe I'm just getting myself in trouble by admitting that lmao

it doesn't do it EVERY time but I certainly do notice the bar is up from 0 to 10 every now and again!

Mine moves from 0 to 10 sometimes, too. That happens mostly when I have a kiddo at grandma's house for too long. I have a large group, so they don't all come out all of the time to play. I can't say how much it takes for that to happen.

Mine moves from 0-10 randomly but I've never seen it move past 10 before. Even if you drag the neglect all the way up I don't think anything happens. lol

It would be kind of interesting (kind of funny?) if child services came or something to bat their virtual finger at you, aha.
