I got behind on my goal to read at least one book a month...darn school. I plan to make up for that this summer though! I finished Little Fires Everywhere. I thought it was pretty good. I would classify it as chick lit with a twist of mystery. It's more character focused than plot focused. It's one of the only books I've ready lately that uses a 3rd person omniscient. You get a little bit about every character.
Updated the first thread with two books I finished semi recently. The Perfect Mother was an okayish read. It was very character oriented. I believe it was a freebie from having a Kindle Unlimited subscription. I always wanted to read a beachy novel by Elin Hilderbrand. I think I actually have a few on my kindle. Apparently The Perfect Couple was her first time writing a mystery. I enjoyed it so much, I am reluctant to read her earlier stuff now. Now I'm reading the new Emily Giffin novel. I don't know why I've been picking books that switch between multiple points of view. It is getting kind of annoying. I think I may go back an reread the Anne of Green Gables series after this. I haven't picked them up in several years, and I have the itch to get back into them again.
Updated with my recent reads. I started rereading the Anne of Green Gables series towards the end of summer. I am currently on book 4. Although Jodi Picoult's new book came out so I had to start that! So now I'm reading two at once.
