So I guess this could also go into the main thread for this but... has anyone here ever had sinus surgery? The reason I ask is because I have had sinus issues since I was in preschool (I am 28 now) and have been to two allergists and just went to see my fourth ent about it. All my allergies tests have come back negative and I have been pretty much tested negative for immune issues such as lupus and what not. The most recent ENT I saw said there is a possibility I could get relief from turbinate surgery (since mine are so enlarged). Btw I am constantly on antibiotics for so called sinus infections which was explained to me the reason they never helped was because I most likely never had most of the infections and it was the enlarged turbinates in my nose. (The turbinates are basically important structures in the nasal airway whose primary function is to warm and humidify the air we breath in. lol). So for this reason is why I am asking if anyone has had any sinus surgery and their thoughts on it?
