hello friends! 💕 welcome to my art & hex commission thread! 🎉
it's taken a lot of courage for me to work up the nerve to make this thread, but i wanted to thank you all for how supportive you've been, i think this will be a really great stepping stone to getting comfortable with commissions going forward in general. 🥺️
please read:
all pricing for this will be in NZD and handled through paypal!
the hexies to come from his will have a special allowance; they will be 100% editable, from their head (or hairstyle) to their toes (or skintone).
however, to make it fair in my head to people who have hexies from me previously that might like this privelege, i will also be offering the chance to purchase the "rights" of hexies i have previously created (subject to approval; i reserve the right to say no for any reason)
i'm pretty sure we're past this mentality in the BC in general, but just to be safe; neither of these terms mean that my work is now claimable as your own!

pricing:
♥ $3-5 for a hex request depending on complexity
(for example; a simple hex would be one with little to no tattoos, a pre-existing hairstyle, etc, while a more complex one would be with many tattoos, maybe changes to the hairstyle e.g. mixing it with other styles, etc.)
♥ $9 for a hex with a new hairstyle
♥ $1 to purchase editing rights to a previous hex
♥ $1 for an update/makeover to a previous hex

i've been doing a bit of research on how most artists seem to price themselves, and seen it seems most of them charge hourly, but some also seem to do fixed price. after going back and forth tossing up how best to approach this/what i want for me as an artist specifically, and i think the best way for here is to do both! so i will be offering fixed price commissions for some specific things i think might appeal to you guys specifically, and an hourly rate for anything else!

cartoon family portrait ❤️️
i've done one of these of my old flatmates & i, and another of my family & i. people seemed to quite like them and want one so i figured i'd lead with that! they're quite fun to make but also take a lot of time and have a lot of love put into them so please remember that fact is reflected in the price.
as much detail and references as you can provide about your family will give the best results here <3
pricing: $150 fixed price for up to 5 family members and 3 pets, after that add +$15 per person and $5 per pet!
lil traditional drawings!
a pen and paper drawing, optionally coloured with spirit markers and/or pencils <3
pricing: $20, add $5 for colour
for other work, my hourly rate will be $25. i can provide a rough quote beforehand if needed on how long i think something may take me and therefore how much it may cost!
please note: as well as other chronic illnesses, i have carpal tunnel, and while it mostly managed these days with rest and splinting, it can still flare up and this may be reflected in the amount of time your commission takes me. please be patient with me! <3
