My first bmp hairstyle : troubleshooting

okay so... I am working on my first bmp hairstyle. It looks all fine and dandy

until... 

she moves and the bmp doesn't want to stay in place. *face palms*

so here is the lnz pro coding

looks like you may have it too far forward. have you tried messing with the Z coordinate? (the third number after the 63)

yes I've tried everything at this point and actually made it worse lol

it stays in place until she moves and it just keeps moving forward

so it is getting slightly better I think I just need to finish up the other bmps and add them to her and she may do better (will post updates)

okay so upon adding the fringe/bangs these lines come up now? I've checked the edges of the bmp and there are no lines? I don't understand why they are there..

I figured out it's the ball outline and unfortunately I have no clue how to make it go away

i have a whole section in my hexing university called “anatomy of an addball” which will show you exactly what each part of the ball does including where the ball outline is!

linez can also have an outline - there’s a section for that as well in case that is the issue.

Did you manage to solve the issue with the floating hair?

As to the ball outline, the Add Ball section uses this format:

;base x y z color otlnCol spckCol fuzz group outline ballsize bodyarea addGroup texture

So it's the 5th number from the back, just set it to -1 Unless you've done that and the issue is still happening?

EDIT: lacey beat me to it! Also, if you ever need a quick reference of the different fields and what they do, LNZ pro has a built in manual. Just go to Help > Pet Editing manual, and on the side there's a section called "the LNZ section" -- it gives you an explanation of the different sections and the values within them. Some Babyz-specific things aren't on there but it's useful for general-purpose stuff!

after setting the ball outline to 0 I got this


after setting it back to -1 I get the same issue
