Trouble with walking? ~resolved!~

Hello so i've had my first baby for a while now and she's standing up and making a whole lot of noise but she still isn't walking?
I don't know if this is a common issue or if it's even fixable but i remember quite clearly having a baby that would actually walk down the screen when i was a kid.
Is there some way for me to fix this and get her to actually progress?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's part of the learning process? That the baby first learns how to stand and later how to walk?

That's true, but she's been standing and not progressing to walking for months now.

I don't think they ever walk! They should only stand and make a lot of noise. That's as far as babyz can progress in that particular milestone, I believe. You can hex a baby to actually walk, but they don't do it on their own.

what really? Weird. I remember having a walking baby when i was young. Is it something that they put in the game but didn't end up using in the final version?

Any babyz that can take actual steps were hexed to do so. I'm not sure if they planned on putting it in, but I believe they were going to make a second babyz game, in which they were older and could actually walk.

I've had babyz take 1 step or so while I hold their hand while they're standing, but not walking on their own. I'm not sure if that's the type of hexing that you're talking about or not, Emmy? It seems pretty programmed into the game.

But beyond that, yeah, pretty much that's it for the game's capabilities.

I mean like, if the baby walks clear across a room by itself, I believe that's done through hexing. They can take a couple of little steps, but I'm talking about full on walking. I know Carolyn has stuff about hexing babyz to actually walk on her website, so that's just what I'm going off of.
