friends, it's that time of year again! preparations for milk's annual fall festival are underway and it's a big one. this year marks our TENTH annual fall festival! for those who haven't had the opportunity to attend any of our previous fall festivals, this is a big carnival that comes into town, bringing rides, contests, games of chance, fair food, and all of those good cozy autumnal and spooky vibes!
this year's fall festival will begin on friday, october 11th.
since it's our tenth fall festival, i thought it would be fun to change things up a little to make it extra special. this year, ANYONE, staff or member alike, can host a festival booth of your own!
🍁 what kind of booth can i have? 🍁
the possibilities are pretty wide open, but i have divided the booth types into the following categories to make things a little easier for everyone:
game booth
come up with and host a carnival game for other members to play! most of our carnival games are chance-based, but you can really do anything you'd like! these can also be based on rides rather than carnival games. you can make your own prizes to give away, or if you aren't a hexer, you can award festival tickets that can be exchanged for pp to spend in our fall cow club.
vendor tent
if you're looking to offer hexed babyz or items to sell for festival tickets (or for free, if you'd prefer), you can host a vendor tent where members can browse your wares or request customs from your given options. this can also include things like graphics/art/caricatures, fun services like aura's psychic readings booth, or limited choice buildables like my build-a-bear plushie request thread.
food stalls
if you enjoy hexing food, you could open a food stall like the fair food or the food trucks we've done in the past!
other ideas
a sort of miscellaneous category that covers everything that doesn't fall into one of the categories listed above! if you have a unique idea, you can pitch it to me and i'm more than likely happy to allow it! pretty much anything that fits with the carnival/fall/halloweeny theme is acceptable.
🍁 can i decorate my booth? 🍁
yes! once the fairgrounds setup board opens, you will be able to create the thread and set it up however you'd like. the plan is to make the board a private board, so that everyone can only see the threads that they have posted themselves, thus keeping everyone's booths a secret until the festival!
🍁 can i co-run a booth with someone else? 🍁
absolutely!! please feel free to sign up as a team and work on a booth together. if you are doing this please let me know so i can set up a board where you can both see the booth and work on it.

if you aren't sure what kind of booth you want to do yet, you can leave the category blank until you decide. you are allowed to do multiple booths as well! around the time that i put up the fairgrounds setup board, i will message you to talk about your booth and make sure there are no repeat ideas! (probably early september)
