2) Put it straight into your Adopted Babyz -folder
(Click computers menu-button down left -> Click Computer -> Click OS(C:) -> Click Program files (x86) if you`ve got Win 7 or newer (maybe Vista as well, I`m not sure), if XP, click Program files -> Scroll down & click Mindscape -> Click Babyz -> and finally, click the Adopted Babyz -folder, where you save the babyz. - If there is no Adopted Babyz -folder in there, create a new folder, and name it Adopted Babyz, and save your babyz.
Now, you`ve got a babyz in your game, so you`re no longer required to adopt in order to play.
I was able to get the babyz game itself on my system and working fine but no matter what I do I can't get Via voice to work. I had to use a virtual XP Machine, Install Babyz on there, then copy and paste the installed files over onto my windows 7. That worked perfectly for babyz however when I try to get via voice set up it keeps popping up that it wasn't installed correctly but I can't even get the installer to run on my win 7. When I try to run it, it goes to my processes but that's the end of it. Via voice works fine on my virtual machine (for whatever reason the window for the actual game, Babyz. is too big for the screen). I tried installing the driver necessary including the directX that was supposed to be needed. I've tried getting via voice working on the xp then re copy and pasting the files that I know worked on xp over. I've even tried copying the registry files thinking that might the cause. I've tried running the setups in every single compatibility setting combination I could think of. I'm at a complete loss of ideas. At the moment I can't use the game to its fullest which is extra annoying since my two "daughters" hate each other (the older one actually throws toys at the younger one) and I can't yell at them to stop fighting. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No I checked that one first when I had the problem. The vvccr files are the same setup files as on the disk and the sound files (well besides having some missing) are obsolete since I have petza installed.
i think, because chromebooks don't run a windows os, you would have to do the same thing that people do to run babyz on a mac. which is to basically partition the drive or use something like parallels to book up a partition that has windows os installed. because it can only run on the windows os. you would have to find something that would work for chrome's os to partition the drive and then have a copy of windows that you can install on it to install babyz onto that partition.
that said, you can try to install it on a chromebook without partitioning it. it just might not work c:
