Stupid virus

My desktop computer got a stupid virus. I don't know if I'll be able to recover any of my pictures or other files let alone my babyz files. It's like a double whammy because I also have no idea where I put my babyz disc so I will have to find and reinstall my game (might look for a free copy online?) I'm going to be super cautious of downloading though because I have no idea how I got this virus. Steve has been using my computer since we've been at my mom's house and he goes to some shady gaming sites and downloads shady games. lol. Shady to me lol. Anyway! That's the only thing I can think of. We don't visit inappropriate sites or anything.

I'm going to see if I can recover my babyz from my email if not, I will hunt down my hexies and ask for another copy of them. I'm such a loser.

Awe, that sucks!! I've had my share of crashes and virus issues over the years! Since I got a laptop I learned to back up my babyz once a month on my desktop computer so if either one flops I can rely on the other, thankfully!

There's also dropbox.com, which my mom uses to backup some really important files too! But, if you need help recovering anything, let us know! A lot of hexers keep copies!

What anti-virus program do you guys have, by the way? I've only ever had luck with Avast. Viruses always got through with any other software and I visit shady gamong sites a lot. haha

I dunno what operating system you're using but I use Microsoft Security Essentials and haven't had any problems, prior to that I was using AVG
