So, i'm hexing a pair of teddy buns and i'm adding some addballs to give kind of like a side bangs type effect. I'm trying to add what would be my 10th ball in the style and every time that I do when I load the game, the baby has reset to it's default hairstyle, minus the bobbles since i deleted that ball for each bun. Does anyone know why this would be happening? When I delete the ball, the hair goes back to what I was working on. I really want to get the balls placed so I can start trying to figure out linez, haha.
Thank you in advance for any help!

Are you accidentally creating an empty line in your addball code when you delete the ball? For example:
[Add Ball]
119 0 0 130 200 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
119 0 0 0 150 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
70 0 20 -140 180 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
113 -4 8 10 150 244 0 0 0 -1 20 8 0 1 -1
112 0 3 -3 15 244 0 -1 0 -1 20 0 1 1 -1
Everything under the gap wouldn't load in game. It's such a small thing that you can accidentally do it though.
Other than that, I have literally no idea. I've never heard of that problem in my many years of hexing (because I assume petz hexing rules when it comes to the code are the same as ones for babyz?). Perhaps you could show us the code for your added hair? I might be able to spot and issue then/test the issue out in my own game?
I don't think that I am? haha. I'm honestly not sure really.
Here's the code currently:
[Add Ball]
119 0 0 130 200 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
119 0 0 0 150 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
70 0 20 -140 180 244 0 0 0 -1 50 0 0 -1 -1
113 -4 8 10 150 244 0 0 0 -1 20 8 0 1 -1
112 0 3 -3 15 244 0 -1 0 -1 20 0 1 1 -1
112 0 8 -3 15 244 0 -1 0 -1 20 0 1 1 -1

which gives me
But if i add another line, i get this:
Well, most of the time. sometimes i delete the line screwing everything up and it still stays the bottom picture and i have to put a new code in and copy/paste everything into a new baby file. It it possibly because i'm opening and closing the game a lot as I get the hang of moving things around and getting oriented to the space i have to work on a baby?
I have this problem, when i forget to set the kid im hexing to 100 on the sliders, before opening them in LNZ Try that and you shouldnt even need to add all the code to child
I open and close the game alot and all that does is make them annoyed or ill, but thats easily fixed with petza sliers too x

It won't be opening and closing the game a lot that's doing it. I'm constantly opening and closing the game when I hex and it's never had any effect before for me.
Are you guys sure it would be because of not adding the code to both the child and the adult? When I hex I only change the code in the adult and so far that's worked out fine every time - but you guys have hexed babyz more than me so maybe I just haven't come across the glitch yet. I also hex with age slider at whatever it is when you first adopt a baby (0? 12? I know it's 12 for petz). I'm slightly worried I've been doing this all wrong now XD

I just delete all the addballs & linez to do with the hair in the child section because if you're hexing off a file that had, say, 30 addballs and while you're hexing in the adult you reach 30 it will revert to the old one, so just delete the hair from the child section and it should reset back to what you're hexing!
Ooh, I hadn't thought about that! I've just been using the adult section and was going to copy it all over to the child section when I was finished, but I'll try doing that and see what happens! Thanks everyone!
