guys i'm so sad :( i broke my game while hexing toys and it's being extremely stubborn this time and refusing to unbreak! i keep getting the stupid debug error, and i get it even with a 100% empty game AND with the brand new game files/folder i downloaded from the copy kelley put up. i also get it when i run as administrator and when i do ctrl+shift to reset registry.
i can't manually delete from the registry because the game wasn't technically ever installed, i just dropped the files into my documents, so there's nothing to delete. i did search the registry for every instance of babyz or babyz.exe or the toys i was working with and deleted all that i could find hoping that it was the temp files in a cache somewhere messing it up but no luck. i've also restarted the computer between all these steps but NOTHING IS WORKING. :(
idk what to dooo, i've run out of the things i normally do to fix it and idk if i'm forgetting one? it's been ages since my game has really broken like this. i'd just un/reinstall but i'm not sure how to fully "uninstall" the problem game files from my system since like i said it was never really installed?i might try to actually install it and then uninstall it and then try my folder again maybe? edit: tried that. didn't work. fresh install still debugs and after uninstall my old copy still debugs :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

EDIT: NVM I FIXED IT. for those curious, i had to: 1. download the torrent of babyz from pirate bay 2. install 3. uninstall 4. restart 5. delete registry entries 6. restart 7. ctrl+shift run babyz to reset registry again AND THEN IT WORKED
phew ugh this fucking game is SO TEMPERAMENTAL
