Can you firefly-eye old babies?

If a hexer hasn't been around since 2012 and it isn't clear in their rules if changes are okay or not (or they're like "please ask first") do you think it's okay to fire-fly their eyes, since you can't ask them/it's a really simple thing?

I think the community mindset is "yeah, go for it," but I wanted to ask and check first.

What other small changes are acceptable if a hexer is no longer around? (are tattoos/freckles generally acceptable?)

I personally would try to contact the hexer first via the email provided and give some time to see if she will respond.

Though Isa hasn't been around for awhile and it is only a minor change imo. What do the powers that be say on this one? (ie...Lacey and Kazzie).

I'll shoot her an e-mail and see if she replies, but yeah, with how old the post is I'm not sure how likely it is she will see it. Worth a shot, though!

E-mail sent! I hope if she sees it a while from now it brightens her day. Mona (one of my other BCRS kiddos) is also from Isa, so I kind of made it "hi I love my babyz from you I enter them in all the pageants" sorta e-mail, too. lol.

Debating how long I should wait / sort of wondering what other mods are thinking on this?
(the temptation to make a giant photoshoot with firefly eyes and catch Storm up to Mona/Hazel BCRS point-wise is very strong, but I want to respect Isa and her work 100%, but it also seems like an okay thing to do, but I'm not sure?) lol.

yeah i think the general consensus is that as long as changing eyecolor/firefly eyes are not strictly prohibited in a hexer's rules, then a basic eye color change is okay :) especially considering how long some of these hexers have been gone, i doubt some of them would even remember what the babyz eye color was to begin with rofl. the way i see it is that if they come back and don't like it you can always change it back!

Isa was incredibly lovely, and sent my an e-mail back! (Already!) I had mentioned that I could update the community on how she felt about changes if she would like in my e-mail and she said, "you could tell the community that I'm okay with eye-colour changes, but the rest I'd rather keep in tact. It would be a shame if I would come back after a few years and not recognize any of my hexies anymore" so I'll comment on her re-homing rules thread in case anyone else owns an Isa baby and is wondering the same thing.

This can be locked/moved into the archive/wherever now.
