trying to hex the milk bottle/renaming files

i have been trying to hex from the damn milk bottle for like an hour and i cannot for the life of me figure out what i'm doing wrong? i'm following the two tutorials here & i've went through the steps a gazillion times and for the life of me i still can't figure it out!

i also went into tinker and changed all of the images like i should [i've hexed a toy before, so i'm a little familiar with that part]

i haven't even attempted hex editor yet because i can't get past this pesky part. i think i'm screwing up somewhere in lnz pro because before i do tinker, it just shows up as a plain milk bottle.

it shows up correctly on the shelf, but whenever i pull it from the shelf, it shows up as the milk bottle.

second question:

recently, i hexed a stitch toy. are there any tutorials out there on renaming the actual file so that it isn't stuffed man? [because i eventually want to open up a shop and i know there are probably a million other toyz out there called 'stuffed man']

as a thank you, anyone who helps me can have these two items for free lol because i'm literally about to pull my hair out.

You've said you've hexed toyz  before, but have you gone into the file and found the pointers, and changed those? If there's no changes being made when you edit the lnz, it's likely that the toy is still pointed to, and thus drawing from, the lnz in the resource dll.

I'm assuming you already changed the Breed ID because that's the easy part -- but you need to make sure the FLH, FLM, etc are all changed to a new name (that's the exact letters as the original name) The part that needs to be changed is ANYTHING that says "Sprite_Milk_X1". Change the "Milk_X1" part to anything else, as long as it's the same amount of characters. (For instance: My cakepops were "Sprite_Cake_P1").

So any time you see "Milk_X1" you need to change it to something else (Like Shake_X1 or something).

You should also change the display name (Milk Bottle) to something else (same number of letters. "Milk Bottle", including the space is 11, so you could change it to Milkshake01 or something).

THEN, make sure you open up the toy file in HexWorkshop, and press CTRL+H (or look for the replace tool on the menus). Type in "Milk_X1" and replace it with your new name (like Cake_P1). Replace ALL of them. THEN, you can look for "Milk Bottle.toy" and replace it with your new display name (Milkshake01.toy). Make sure it says ".toy" at the end, or it can mess up. (If you're making more than one milkshake toy, i'd suggest changing the last number in the name, because EACH new item needs it's own names or else it tries to use the same codes from the item you're hexing it from).

Once all that is done, THEN you drag it into tinker and make it pretty <3
