babyz won't open

Hello, I did take a look at the common issues because I am having the same error message and have tried all of the suggestions to still not be able to identify the problem for Babyz not running on my laptop. 

In the error message that pops up it states to debug or abort, and cites Playroom.env as the cause which is strange because I haven't hexed, added or changed any of the rooms since I redownloaded the game. 

I would love to know of any other tries or ways around this issue thanks

This error always means I have to un-install, wipe everything and do a clean re-install :/

this happens to me if i delete toys or clothes from my game without putting them away. if you've removed any toys or clothes try putting them back and it may work :) you also can try running the game as administrator.

Thank you. I tried undoing updates because I was playing it pretty recently and it never had any problems. Wipe clean and reinstalling. Trying to reset the registry and placing it in documents, running it as an administrator, using PetzA, using only original toys/clothes and such and I still get a weird error message, I'm not understanding

thank you. I originally thought that too, but still am receiving a weird error message and won't allow me to open my game

if absolutely none of the suggestions are working then i would:

1. uninstall babyz
2. restart your pc
3. delete any folders babyz left behind
4. restart your pc
5. do a registry reset
6. restart your pc
7. install babyz
8. restart your pc

it is very annoying but i've had to do that a couple of times! restarting between every single step is key.

yeah I gave it a shot, that was a great idea. I'm very annoyed with the game it's showing the same issues. I even can run Petz 4 with no problems but no Babyz. thank you for all your help though <3

I have tried to install the game brand new and fresh into a different folder before and that has worked for me!
IE. I had it in documents and installed it in my downloads folder.
That was literally the only thing that worked!
Then I reset the registry using the program CCleaner, restarted, and moved the game to documents and all was fine!

If you are still having this issue then maybe try installing on a different computer if available? It's not the best solution, but when this happened to me I had just given up and backed up my stuff for if I could fix it it the future, but then I got a new laptop and tried installing it on there and it worked. Could be worth testing out if you have access to either an older computer or somebody else's computer.
