the very last thing we are going to do is to change the shelf image so that your new toy shows up correctly on the shelf. if you have already taken my introduction to toy hexing course, this lesson is the same in both courses.
*remember to put the toy back on the shelf before proceeding!*
go ahead and reopen the toy in tinker.
this time, you'll want to select the bottom one, "DOLL_T1_AWAY", and then scroll down and click "edit".
when this sprite opens, you'll see a sidebar on the left with the words "AwayA" and if you expand that it will give you a list of frames. if you click "import" underneath the image, you can import your shelf image in its place!
in order to make the shelf image for an addball toy, i usually just take a photo of a baby with the addball toy in the frame (so it has a crisp line and white background) and then edit the baby out so you just have the toy image. if your toy is small, you can just use that as the shelf image, or if it is too tall for the shelf you can resize it in your graphic editor of choice. above is an example of the toy photo along with the resized one for the shelf.
