welcome to the end of summer fashion show hexing contest!
this is a fashion design competition intended to inspire fledgling & veteran clothes hexers alike to practice clothes hexing techniques and maybe even step out of their comfort zones a little bit and try something new!
sometimes it can be hard to find inspiration for clothes hexing, or find colors and themes that work together, so for this contest, everyone who enters will be given a selection of three curated shoplook.io moodboards and each hexer will hex a clothing set based on or inspired by one of the moodboards they are given. i have done this kind of contest in the past and everyone really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun hexing from the moodboards and seeing all the sets that came out of them.
☀️ rules & info ☀️
• your set does not have to be an exact copy of the moodboard-- you can base your pieces on the actual pieces in the set or just loosely base the theme around it. It's up to you! i made sure to choose boards that have very solid ~vibes~ to work from & inspire you.
• you do not need to be a highly skilled/experienced clothes hexer to participate!! i specifically chose boards that i thought would be easy to translate to a set.
• sets need to have at least 8 pieces to qualify
• the deadline to enter a set is friday, september 13, so you will have about a month to work on your set!
• winners will be determined by a panel of judges, and the top 3 will earn some custom hexed sets for their babyz <3
